Retroflo was established in 2008 following extensive
development work by leading UK contractor Byzak.
While undertaking Pumping Station Refurbishments,
Byzak's M+E Division adopted a new approach to managing
the complete pumping process, the success of which
led to the development of the Retroflo brand.
The Retroflo RPC_2000 is an internationally
patented pump control system that has applications
wherever a pump is used. Specifically designed for
the water industry, the Retroflo system can be utilised
in industries such as oil and gas, paper, food,
and pharmaceuticals.
Based in offices in the North East of England, the
company employs technical, development and engineering
personnel. The Retroflo approach combines extensive
industry experience with technical innovation to
offer an enviable knowledge base.
In 2008 Retroflo made its system available to a
wider market, launching the RPC_2000 -
the world's first complete pump control system,
and the first model in a planned range of off-the-shelf
products.
